Standard Operating Procedure

1) put down/step back.
2) go away.
3) play some piano, breathe. look at the sky, do something unrelated. laugh.
4) talk to someone sane. trash out, think about why you feel this way, whether it stands or not. what you believe in, what you want to believe in.

and then after all that, you really do have to deal with it
